Nicole Campre starts the show off with a BANG! Great job, Hun! As always, Nicole’s pieces are created with her own personal style in mind. Soft cream jersey material to give a airy flow and accentuate a woman’s movements, luscious and draped. My favourite piece from her collection is the long gold jacket.
Anne B. Of Anne B Accessories defines her subway show as oversized and bold. I would consider it to be conversational pieces that are bound to get sure glances. Her collection makes an outfit.
Mercedes Benz Startup Finalist Malorie Urbanovitch floods the runway with hues of sea foam, bone, royal blue, and pumpkin orange, along with the classic black.
Newcomer Tanya Taylor brings her spring/summer 2014 collection to the PARKLUXE runway. Inspired by floral, her collection includes hand painted pieces, mesh, embroidery and beadwork. A bit of a 70’s vibe – and cute.
It is easy to fall in love with my favourite defined of the night, Lauren Bagliore. Architecture plays a big part in this collection and defying the rules of asymmetry. Lauren’s pieces, to me, define a woman’s personality and allows you to express your emotion through wearing her clothes.
Calgary Designer, Paul Hardy, brings a slight western influence to his fall/winter collection. Blue is a dominant colour in this collection. Staying warm is sexy.
Laura Siegel’s F/W 2013 collection. Bohemian, Eco-friendly and inspired by artisan talent. Beautiful.
Magnolia Magazine will be covering this year’s PARKLUXE event. I’m doing something different in the Calgary scene in terms of coverage. Stay tuned for what I have planned! 🙂
I’m not really into the Hunger Games stories but I am definitely in love with the fashion and beauty design. Absolutely gorgeous!
